Description
This limited-edition 8-inch Dunny offers a fresh and fun interpretation of Irises by Vincent Van Gogh (Dutch, 1853-1890). In May 1890, just before his departure from the asylum in Saint-Rmy, Van Gogh painted an exceptional quartet of still lifes, to which The Mets Irises (and also Roses) belongs.
The partnership between and The Metropolitan Museum of Art marks the Museums 150th anniversary in a bold, colorful way. Continuing a tradition set forth by those whose generosity and enthusiasm have built The Met, this 8-inch Masterpiece Dunny was inspired by the Museums permanent collection and pays tribute to art lovers around the globe who are passionate about The Met.
